Robert “Bobby” Harris is a founding Principal of Ifrah Financial Services.Harris, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional specializing in working with clients, advising them on issues arising from several aspects of personal financial planning, including investment management, retirement planning, income tax planning, insurance and estate planning. He also assists small business owners with decisions in choosing and implementing retirement plans. Harris works in both the Little Rock and Texarkana, TX offices of Ifrah Financial Services.
Harris is the current chair of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce “Ambassadors”, and was a graduate of the “Leadership Greater Little Rock” Class XXIII. He has served as an Adjunct Instructor of Finance in the Economics, Finance, Insurance & Risk Management (EFIRM) department at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas. He is a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and a past president of the Arkansas Chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
His charitable interests include volunteering for the American Cancer Society, currently serving as a “Hope Ambassador”. He also volunteers for the American Cancer Society-Cancer Action Network as the State Lead Ambassador for the state of Arkansas. Bobby is married to Sara Harris, a cancer survivor. They are parents of twin sons, Jackson and Lucas.
Prior to beginning a career in the financial services industry, he served as both an enlisted soldier and commissioned officer in the U.S. Army and is a veteran of several overseas operations, most notably Desert Storm.
He began his financial services career in 1993 at a regional brokerage firm, first as an operations employee and later as a trading assistant. In 1995 he joined a Little Rock-based registered investment advisory firm and began assisting clients in the Little Rock and Texarkana areas.
An Arkansas native, Harris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. This experience has helped him in his numerous past appearances on radio and television, speaking about financial planning issues. An accomplished public speaker, he has presented many seminars educating people about investing, tax planning, retirement planning and other financial issues.
